"Keep the kettlebell glued to your chest and drive your knees outward to make room for your hips. Stay upright throughout the movement."

A foundational lower-body movement that develops squat depth, hip mobility, and anterior core strength.

Execution Standards:

  1. The Hold: Hold the kettlebell by the horns close to your chest, elbows tucked in.
  2. The Descent: Sit your hips back and down, keeping your chest up and heels flat on the floor.
  3. The Bottom: Your elbows should touch the inside of your knees at the bottom of the squat.
  4. The Drive: Push through the floor to return to a standing position, exhaling at the top.
